Description

Selling my 27-inch Apple iMac Retina 5K as I’m upgrading to a newer Apple Silicon system for professional video editing.

The computer is in excellent condition, fully operational and running macOS Tahoe 26.7.2 smoothly. It has been upgraded with 32GB RAM and SSD storage, making it a great machine for everyday computing, office work, browsing, photography and compatible creative applications.

Specifications:

• Model: Apple iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, Mid 2015
• Display: 27-inch Retina 5K (5120 × 2880)
• Processor: 3.3GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
• Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M290, 2GB
• Memory: 32GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM
• Storage: Upgraded 480GB Kingston SSD
• Operating System: macOS Tahoe 26.7.2

Operating System Information:

The iMac is currently running macOS Tahoe 26.7.2 through OpenCore Legacy Patcher (OCLP), allowing it to run a newer version of macOS than officially supported by Apple.

It is running smoothly in everyday use, but I’m also happy to downgrade it to an older, more suitable and potentially snappier version of macOS before collection, should the buyer prefer. This can include an officially supported version.

Please note that OpenCore is a third-party solution, and future macOS updates may require additional patching.

Condition:

Excellent overall condition. Fully working and well looked after. Buyers are more than welcome to test the computer thoroughly before purchasing.

Reason for selling: Upgrading my photography and cinematography workstation to Apple Silicon.

Keyboard and mouse are not included.

Collection in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

Genuine enquiries and reasonable offers welcome.
