Description

Multifunction steering wheel for Volkswagen Transporter T5.1 (not suitable for T5)
T5.1 airbag fits this steering wheel with a different loom.
Price is fully installed and activated with all wiring needed.
This is a used steering wheel in good condition.

Do you cut and coad the keys to specific vans.. ive only one key for mine or do I need to go to vw for

@A1jim: What year is your van exactly? I can fully code the key to the van and I can recommend a good locksmith, who can cut the blade of the key.

@A1jim: Need to check the BCM in that T6 with diagnostics as some of the late vans have the remote controller adaptation disabled. If I can adapt another remote to the central locking, I should be able to program the whole key then.

@gwheels: Hi, I still have couple of these available. I can make it to work in a T6, but needs an airbag as well. T6 airbag doesn't fit into this type of steering wheel

Ok, thanks for the quick response. I have a T5.1 so ill keep this in mind. Can you find something to work on the T6? Golf/Polo etc, I am not bothered once it has radio/multi-function controls

@gwheels: I'll check what multifunction wheel would work in your T6. Do you want to keep the airbag to keep the price low, or looking for something nice looking wheel? I have a steering wheel that's not advertised yet. I can send a photo in PM before I list it here.

@gwheels: Hi, I keep checking them steering wheels, but the ones for T6 are very expensive. I'd say it would be easier to find a T5.1 multifunction steering wheel in perfect condition and wouldn't be more expensive even with the airbag. I'd say I could supply and fit one with airbag for €250. Cheapest T6 wheels are €250-300 without airbag and most of them have marks or wear to the leather.
