@blondie27: this 32gb version of the Ipad Air 2 was released in September 2016 and discontinued in March of 2017. Its maximum update is to iPadOS 15. It cannot be updated to iPadOS 16 or newer because of hardware limits. Popular streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ still work well on this iPadOS 15, though some newer apps or games might require a higher OS version. Apple periodically releases minor point security updates for iPadOS 15 devices to keep them safe.
