9ct gold Victorian seed pearl & turquoise brooch
Description
A delicate wreath-shaped Victorian forget-me-not / mourning brooch / pendant stamped for 9ct gold.
It features six leaf-shaped clusters of tiny seed pearls interspersed with six turquoises, all intact.
Closure is via a C-clasp, and there is slight bending of the pin.
There’s a small hook at the top of the brooch, maybe for use as a pendant
As well as the 9ct stamp, the back of the brooch has a maker’s symbol.
It measures c. 3cm at its widest and weighs 2.6g.
