Antique Circa 1900 9ct Gold Cross Pendant Late Victorian Edwardian

A beautiful petite antique 9ct gold cross pendant dating stylistically to the turn of the 20th century, circa 1900, Late Victorian to Edwardian period.

A particularly elegant early design with crisp pointed terminals, sculpted bevelled edges and a wonderful architectural quality. The faceted borders catch the light beautifully despite the very delicate scale of the piece.

Original period 9CT stamp clearly visible.

The lightweight hollow construction is characteristic of many fine gold pendants from this period and gives the cross a delicate, refined appearance when worn.

Weight approximately 0.42g.

A lovely genuine antique piece with more than a century of character, ideal worn alone on a fine chain or layered with other antique gold jewellery.
