Vintage STG Sterling Silver Carved Shell Cameo Bar Brooch Pin 6cm CAN POST

An elegant and timeless vintage sterling silver bar brooch featuring a beautifully hand-carved shell cameo at its center.

Design & Materials:
The horizontal bar is crafted from sleek, solid sterling silver and securely houses an oval bezel-set shell cameo. The cameo features a classic, finely detailed profile portrait of a woman with an elegant, swept-up hairstyle. The natural coloration of the marine shell creates a lovely contrast between the white silhouette and the warm orange-brown background.

Hallmarks & Authenticity:
The reverse side is clearly stamped with the vintage purity hallmark "STG SILVER", guaranteeing solid sterling silver (92.5% purity). The cameo has been backlit and checked under magnification, confirming the beautiful natural growth lines and translucent qualities of genuine ocean shell. I have included pictures of it under the microscope.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina to the silver. The carved shell cameo is free from cracks, deep chips, or damage. The pin mechanism and safety clasp on the back operate exactly as they should.
