Cotter Marketing Ltd
Location: Dublin
Cotter Marketing Ltd. is part of the Cotter Group. The company was founded in 1972 by Managing Director John Cotter and based in Cork. Cotter Marine, which was then the larger part of the group was involved in the worldwide service and repair of supertankers, both mechanical and electrical.
As a result of our exposure to the many facets of the shipping industry, we saw an opening in the supply chain for mechanical packings and gaskets. This resulted in our appointment as distributors for Chesterton products, thus the birth of Cotter Marketing.
After initial success, it was decided to expand into land-based industry and sales specialists were appointed.
