About us Originally a husband and wife team, Gorilla Design began as a Lighting Design Company but quickly saw a niche in the market for a comprehensive Production Company. Now with an experienced team and Ireland’s largest range of premiere event drape, Gorilla Design can construct any event to any budget, managing all of the individual elements necessary to create a distinctive event. Engineering the Anatomy of Events History Previous to setting up Gorilla Design, Managing Director Rob Jones spent 11 years touring the world as a Lighting Designer. Rob has worked with such prestigious artists as Mark Knofler, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Elvis Costello, Badly Drawn Boy, Boy George, All Saints and Nancy Griffith before making his home in Dublin and setting up Gorilla Design. John Long joined the team in 2011, bringing his vast experience in dressing both private and corporate events to the company. From there on in, Gorilla Design quickly established itself in the industry with a strong reputation of distinct Production Design for all events.
