Junction 14 Mayfield

Junction 14 Mayfield all started when two local businessmen and brothers Liam and Donal Fitzpatrick identified Junction 14 as the perfect destination to give M7 motorists a break on the journey between Dublin, Cork and the south west.
The Fitzpatricks spent several years looking across Europe at what was happening in the motorway forecourt industry. They were looking at ways to improve current designs and also how they could tailor existing ideas to suit the Irish market.
The brothers spent a lot of time working out the ideal distance that the site should be situated from Dublin and it was agreed that Monasterevin was the perfect location as this is where motorists are actually looking for a break.
Once the site had been established, Liam and Donal went to work on making their ideas become reality.
