Kelly’s Kitchen is a tearoom/cafe on Main Street, Newport, Co. Mayo, Ireland next door to Kelly’s Butchers. Dominick Kelly’s Butchers Shop has been a mainstay of Newport’s Main Street since the 1930’s when it was opened by Seán’s father, Dominick. It was, and still is, a small family business with a strong commitment to the local area. A lively local trade is evident from the bustling atmosphere in the shop and restaurant and the good natured banter with regular customers.The cafe is at ground level and is easily accessible.
The decor is country kitchen style and is fresh and new.
Service is friendly and relaxed and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere with a mixture of local and tourist clientele.
The menu offers hot and cold plates, soup, sandwiches, salads, scones and the award winning Kelly’s Butchers sausages and puddings from next door.
