Description: Junior/Trainee Health and Safety Professional for Construction Health and Safety worker required for a busy Construction Company. The successful candidate will be involved in an Hotel Construction Project, based in Sheriff St, Dublin area. Requirements/Skills: Third Level degree in Health and Safety or related discipline is required In date Safe Pass & Manual Handling A minimum of 2 years Health and Safety experience, with a main contractor is essential Experienced in carrying out risk assessments Highly motivated and meticulous in attention to professional standards Ability to work in a team environment and can engage, motivate and work with people; this is a fast-paced project that will require hands on work Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills Strong communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Complete TBT's weekly Reviewing all paperwork from Sub-Contractors and ensuring Main-Contractor's paperwork is in place Weekly checks for H&S paperwork ie. GA2'S, GA3'S, Ladders etc. Excellent organisational skills to be implemented i.e. efficient filing system in place on Site Office, for everyone to follow. Full drivers licence essential Duties include but not limited to: Develop, monitor, implement and audit Health and Safety Procedures/Policies in business. Carry out risk assessments and ensure risks are reduced Keep record of incidents and accidents. Produce all statistics to Senior Management Keep up to date with new legislations and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Authority (HSA) legislation and any development, effecting the industry. Responsibility for the supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of the Environmental, Health, Safety Management Systems.
