SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are currently recruiting for full-time Plant Operator positions based in Ringsend, Dublin 4 for a highly successful and rapidly growing company in the building materials sector. These roles are an immediate start, initially agency roles with a view to permanency for the right candidate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate the plant on a shift basis in a safe and efficient manner to ensure performance and optimise efficiency; Ensure that all work carried out is completed in line with Companys QHSE (Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental policies); Maintain accurate and complete records of all plant operations in the relevant logs; complete routine and adhoc reports on plant operations as directed by the Plant Management team; Carry out routine plant inspections and first line maintenance work as instructed and to record any plant defects found during the course of regular site rounds; Feeding of raw materials into the plant facility, controlling process parameters by way of an automated computer system; Regular sampling and testing of finished product for quality control; Truck loading and weighbridge activities (including the issuing of weighbridge dockets); Assist in the unloading of raw materials / loading of bulk finished products / product blending; Maintenance operations both preventative, scheduled and reactive; Housekeeping as per instructions given by management team; Monitoring & maintaining production performance and efficiency to meet company KPI targets; Complete any other projects / capex, tasks as assigned by management team. This is a full-time on-going position with a view to permanency for the right candidate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Counterbalance forklift driving, loading/unloading pallets on/off trailers, general warehouse forklift work, recording what you load on trailers (load plan), occasionally strapping and weighing material using an automated process and keeping the site tidy as part of a team effort. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Counterbalance forklift licence; Strong experience in driving Counterbalance forklift including loading and off-loading; Good attention to detail and accuracy in recording what you load on a trailer; Energetic with positive attitude and a team player. SUMMARY OF ROLE: Our client, a well-established global distribution company of medical laboratory equipment is currently implementing ambitious growth strategies. As a result a new position has arisen for an Assistant Financial Controller based in Dublin 12 to free up the financial controllers time to focus on more project based work. This role is ideal for someone who is in final year of pre-qualification or one year post-qualification, to gain essential financial control experience and experience managing of accounting staff. The role is hands-on. It is an excellent opportunity, rewarding the successful candidate with an in-depth knowledge of accounting practices, people management and solutions-based thinking. It may also suit someone with a very strong bookkeeping background with a track record of accounts preparation and managing accounting staff. The role reports to the financial controller and will deputise for the financial controller in his absence.
