Lead Roofer Cork own van, has run jobs or a crew

Read this first. This is not a labourer or general operative job.

Recommended Roofing is looking for one trustworthy, self-sufficient lead roofer to expand our team in Cork. You will price the job, plan it, order the materials and do the work start to finish, with the crew, as the person the customer deals with. We bring the work in; you run it. 15 years trading, 5-star reviews, Bank of Ireland approved.

Who this suits: someone who has had their own roofing business and wants a stable income without the worry of finding the next job.

The work: roof repairs and storm-damage call-outs, chimneys and lead flashing, gutters and fascia, and full strip-and-recover on slate, tile and flat roofs.

Only apply if every one of these is true:
- You have run your own roofing business, or managed a team of roofers.
- You have been self-employed at some stage.
- You can price, plan and do a roofing job on your own, start to finish.
- You own your own van and tools.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Right to work in Ireland, now.
- Based in Cork or the surrounding area.
- Comfortable working at height.
- Enough English to run a customer conversation and a crew.
- You will film every finished job with a few words on what was done.

Counts in your favour: your own team, or lads you can call in for bigger jobs. Safe Pass, Manual Handling and Working at Height held now. Storm-damage and insurance repair work. Flat roofs: EPDM, torch-on, GRP.

What you get: steady work without chasing it, your own jobs to run, room to bring your own team in on bigger work, and pay and the form of engagement agreed at the final interview, set to your experience.

How to apply: use the link below. Two minutes on your phone: name, number, a few tap-to-answer questions, and your CV or a photo of it. We ring everyone who applies, usually within a day. Please apply through the link rather than messaging on Adverts, so nothing gets missed.

No agencies. No cleaners, warehouse, bar or kitchen CVs. Roofers only.
