Thomas Carroll Opticians
Location: Dundrum, Dublin
Tom Carroll started Carroll Opticians at Eden Quay in Dublin in 1965. A second branch opened in Dundrum Shopping Centre in 1972. Helen Carroll joined her father in Dundrum in 1987 and when the Dundrum Shopping Centre closed, a new location on the Main Street in Dundrum Village became the new home of Carroll Opticians.
A magnificent old building on Pembroke Terrace has been fitted out to the highest specification and boasts over 3000 square feet of space, with an entire floor dedicated to children's and baby's spectacles.
