Selling my Advanced Elements AdvancedFrame Expedition kayak – a really solid, capable kayak that’s ideal for touring, longer days on the water or just exploring somewhere new.

What I really like about this kayak is that it gives you the convenience of an inflatable, but feels much more like a proper rigid touring kayak once it’s set up.

It has the drop-stitch floor, which can be inflated to high pressure and makes a big difference to the rigidity and stability of the kayak. It gives you a much more solid platform under your feet and helps make paddling more efficient and comfortable.

It also has the BackBone system, which sits underneath the floor and acts like a rigid keel. This gives the kayak a more defined V-shaped hull, helping it track straighter and paddle more efficiently, particularly over longer distances.

The AdvancedFrame aluminium rib-frame construction in the bow and stern also helps give it a more rigid shape and allows it to cut through the water nicely.

The Expedition is a good-sized touring kayak with plenty of room, making it a great option for longer trips where you want to bring some kit with you. And when you’re finished, it packs down for much easier transport and storage than a conventional hard-shell kayak.
