This is not your average Juno-106. It combines the legendary original Roland analogue sound with the reliability of six new Analogue Renaissance voice chips and the hugely expanded synthesis capabilities of the Kiwi-106 modification.

Upgrades and restoration

6 × New Analogue Renaissance Voice Chips

All six original 80017A VCF/VCA modules have been replaced with new Analogue Renaissance equivalents.

These address one of the most common and expensive failure points of the original Juno-106 while preserving its classic analogue filter character.

Kiwi-106 Hardware Upgrade

A substantial expansion of the original synthesizer, adding:

* 512 patch memories
* Two independent envelope generators
* Two LFOs with six waveforms each
* Advanced arpeggiator with swing and multiple modes
* Eight polyphonic sequencer memories, up to 124 steps each
* Eight programmable pattern memories
* Chord memory and additional voice assignment modes
* Unison detuning and expanded modulation possibilities
* Comprehensive MIDI CC, NRPN and SysEx control
* MIDI clock synchronisation

All while retaining the original six-voice analogue Juno sound.

Kiwi-106 Control Panel Overlay

Dedicated Kiwi-106 overlay installed, with all the additional functions and parameter assignments clearly labelled on the front panel.

Beautiful handcrafted walnut end cheeks by Mint Case UK, giving the synthesizer a distinctive vintage appearance.
