Analog with digital control. Percussion-focused, but just as happy handling bass or lead duties. Zaps is capable of both clean rhythmic sounds and rougher, more experimental tones depending on how you use it.

The analog core gives it a solid, natural character for kicks, FM tones, and metallic percussion. The digital control section can save twelve banks, each with twelve sound slots. These slots are sequenceable via CV, enabling multiple percussive sounds from a single source.

Two triangle-core VCOs with coarse and fine pitch controls provide a traditional set of waveshapes. VCO2 can also operate as a double sine wave or noise generator, while AM and FM from VCO2, along with cross-FM from VCO1, effectively make this a complex oscillator with preset management. It will even auto-generate tones and banks for you.

The layout is straightforward and very live-friendly, with plenty of CV control for pushing it in different directions. Loads of fun and sounds amazing.
