Known hardware fault (GPU); everything else is documented below and diagnostic screenshots are available.

- NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB — FAULTY
- Battery ~75% of original capacity — strong for the age
- Wi-Fi + Bluetooth (Intel Wireless-AC 9560), webcam, speakers, mic — all working
- Storage: No storage included. Laptop has SATA for a HDD or SSD and M2 NVMe slot for SSD

Main fault — GPU

The GTX 1060 runs fine for short bursts but disconnects from the PCIe bus under sustained load (gaming/heavy GPU use), recovering only after a reboot. Diagnosed as classic solder-joint fatigue (BGA) — a reflow/reball typically resolves it. Confirmed NOT thermal: temps stay ~71–73°C under load. Runs perfectly on the Intel integrated graphics in the meantime (fine for desktop, browsing, video). I'm selling rather than repairing as I don't do BGA rework myself.

Other faults

Approx. 10–15 keyboard keys unresponsive from old liquid damage, mostly in the central typing area — needs a full keyboard replacement, or just use an external USB keyboard (works perfectly). Ethernet port not working (no link) — use Wi-Fi or a cheap USB-Ethernet adapter
Minor cosmetic wear/scuffs on the lid; a couple of loose chassis screws

What's good

CPU, cooling and thermals all healthy
Screen, battery, RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, webcam, speakers, all USB ports, USB-C, HDMI and SD reader all working
GPU itself is very likely salvageable with a reflow — excellent donor/refurb candidate
