Alienware M18X R2 Laptop.

Here for sale is a Alienware M18X R2

It is in working condition, but read the advert thoroughly.

When I got the machine it didn’t work, had no battery, and no charger. The machine has lots of scuffs here and there, and there is a crack in the outer screen to the left. The screen is perfect.

The machine had the motherboard fixed, then It worked fine for a small time, then the Graphics card failed, so a Nvidia GeForce 765m was installed.

The machine then worked fine for a while. It then started doing strange things. The keyboard was diagnosed as the issue. The volume buttons at the top were disconnected, and the machine works fine. A few of the keys are a little loose.

It not having a battery really bothered me, so I ordered three, but none ever showed up.

I bought a dead battery from eBay, and had the cells replaced. The battery lasts for about an hour.

The disc drive works, the USBs all seem fine, I seem to recall the HDMI can be a bit fiddly.

A 256 ssd hard drive
And a 700 gd normal hard drive.

And comes with a charger.

I have used the machine daily for the last year. It’s worked fine. The fan does sometimes not stop running. I installed a dell program the scans for issues, and that always stopped it.

It’s an interesting machine, but know what you are buying. I’m not trying to hide anything.

I’ve had it fixed, I didn’t do any of the work myself, I have little knowledge of these things.
