Hi,

I’m genuinely interested in the laptop, but the screen artefacts create a significant financial risk because the cause has not been professionally diagnosed.

The issue could be limited to the display panel or display cable, but it could also be related to the GPU, VRAM or motherboard. Since the RTX 3080 Ti is soldered directly to the motherboard, any GPU or motherboard fault could make the repair extremely expensive or potentially uneconomical. Even replacing the QHD high-refresh-rate display would involve additional parts, labour and diagnostic costs.

Therefore, I can consider proceeding in either of the following ways:

1. You reconsider the asking price and offer me a significantly reduced price that genuinely reflects the laptop’s current condition and the repair risk; or

2. You allow me to have the laptop professionally inspected first, after which we can agree on a fair price based on the confirmed diagnosis.

I am a serious buyer and can proceed quickly, but €950 is too high while the cause and potential cost of the fault remain unknown. If you are genuinely interested in selling it in its present condition, please let me know your best realistic price.
