Is it just the screen thats at fault?

pjd2000 9 hours ago

Hi, I'm interested in the ThinkPad T480s. I understand it's being sold as faulty.

Could I check a few things before making an offer?

Does the laptop power on and boot into Windows?

Has it been tested with an external monitor or TV using HDMI? If so, does the picture display correctly?

Is the fault limited to the built-in screen, or are there any other known problems?

Does it charge correctly, and does the battery hold a charge?

Are the SSD and RAM included?

Does the keyboard and touchpad work?

Is there a BIOS password or any other lock on the laptop?

Does it come with the charger?

I'm mainly interested in using it with an external monitor, so the internal screen doesn't need to work.

Thanks!
