Condition:

The laptop is used and has visible signs of normal wear and use, including some scratches and marks on the casing. Please check the photos for the overall cosmetic condition.

These are cosmetic signs of use and are separate from the technical issue described below.

PLEASE READ – Fault:

The laptop was working, but the internal FPC cable connecting the motherboard to the Power/RJ45 board was damaged.

The original cable is a proprietary VAIO/Positivo part (PF_EM_IW522_RJ45_BOARD_FPC_V1.0) which is very difficult to source in Europe. A generic replacement cable was tried but was not compatible.

The motherboard, display and other main components were working prior to the FPC cable issue. However, as the laptop is currently not fully operational, I cannot guarantee or test every individual component and it is being sold as-is for parts or repair.

Ideal for someone who repairs laptops, needs VAIO FE15 parts, or is able to source the correct FPC cable.

No SSD/storage included.

Selling because I have since bought another laptop and don't want to spend more time sourcing the original cable.
