Nikon AF Nikkor 70-300mm 1:4-5.6G Lens (mint)

The Nikon AF 70-300mm F4-5.6 G is a small, lightweight (425g) 4.2x zoom lens for Nikon Full-Frame DSLRs. Its size and weight also make it ideal for DX DSLRs where you will get the focal equivalent of 105-450mm. However, as there is no built-in vibration reduction, you will need fast shutter speeds or a tripod to achieve sharp photos at 450mm. It features a 62mm filter thread and can focus to a minimum distance of 1.5 meters (5ft).

This lens is in mint condition – not a mark on it and glass is spotless. It looks as if it just came out of the box.

The photos included above were taken using this lens on a Nikon D90 mainly at 300mm (450mm equivalent) and were cropped to emphasise the subject. Exposure was between 1/320 sec. and 1/500 sec. at f/9 and ISO-250. All photos are of or with the actual lens.

The lens will work on all Nikon SLR/DSLR/Mirrorless cameras (Z-mount cameras require an adapter). However, please note that autofocus only works with certain Nikon cameras – this is not an issue with the lens, but rather with many newer cameras which require in-lens motors to focus. I think this is the full list of cameras that this lens WILL autofocus with - D50, D70, D70s, D80, D90, D100, D7000, D7100, D7200, D200, D300, D300s, D500, D600, D610, D700, D750, D780, D800, D800E, D810, D850.

Front and rear caps are included and a lens hood is on order.
