Pair of Discontinued IKEA HEMNES Bedside Cabinets Lockers White

Lovely matching pair of discontinued IKEA HEMNES bedside cabinets / lockers in white.

These are the older cupboard-style HEMNES design and are a fabulous, very practical size for either side of a bed. They would also work beautifully as bathroom cabinets, occasional storage cabinets or as an upcycling project.

Dimensions of each:
39 cm wide
39 cm deep
75 cm high

Each cabinet has two internal shelves, creating three really useful storage levels, together with the lovely original cream/yellow striped backing.

I have replaced the original IKEA handles with gorgeous solid brass round knobs, which give them a lovely updated look.

They are in need of a little TLC and the price reflects this. There is some wear, marking and lifting/chipping to the painted finish, particularly around the edges of the tops, as shown clearly in the photographs. These areas could be sanded, filled where necessary and repainted or resprayed very successfully.

The top panel on one cabinet is also a little loose and would benefit from being refixed. Both remain very useful pieces of furniture and have a beautiful classic shape with loads of storage potential.

A really nice pair of discontinued HEMNES cabinets for somebody happy to give them a little bit of attention.
