Hi, i have 2 x 2006 imac's 20 inch. One of them is not working, the screen is just black but its running in background, will this connect the two of them? Thanks

Hi, this adapter allows you to connect a VGA monitor to a device with a Mini DisplayPort. The 2006 20” iMac does not have a Mini DisplayPort, so it cannot be used directly with this iMac.

Thanks for your reply, just wondering if you would know why the screen is black (flickers when turned on, then goes dark) but the machine is running. I just installed an SSD drive into it.
