@Spuntr yes it was issued by IT of my former employer. After redundancy they let people keep their laptops and unenrolled them.

@Spuntr I’m not sure tbh. It was actually my wife’s job not mine, I didn’t pay much attention but they remotely wiped it and she set it back up as a new machine. I’ll be factory resetting it again before I pass it on of course. Happy to run any particular check if that helps.

@s_dev: Comes with original charger and cable yes. I'm not sure if it's 'magsafe', the charging is USB-C not the slick clip-in ones they had on the older macbooks. I can double check for you if you need more info.

The M3 pro model comes with MagSafe 3 charge cable. Are you sure it’s USB-c on both ends ?

@s_dev: Indeed you are right I dug out the charger and it does indeed have a 'magsafe' charger, one of these in white:

You can also charge it off the USB-C ports which is what confused me. The original charger is a 70W USB-C one, model A2743 with a UK/Ireland plug.
