Lone Star Soul: Sole Invitation - Peter Campbell - 2013 Irish Graphic Novel

Lone Star Soul: Book One - Sole Invitation, written and illustrated by Peter Campbell.

An unusual Irish independent graphic novel combining science fiction, space opera, Westerns and 1970s blaxploitation influences.

It's 1973, and Leroy Soulo is working on a low-budget film outside Cisco City when he's suddenly transported four million light years across the galaxy, beginning a strange adventure far beyond anything he imagined.

Sole Invitation is the first instalment of the ambitious Lone Star Soul project, developed in Ireland as a story intended to extend beyond comics into other media.

This is the 2013 Irish-printed edition, accompanied by the original loose promotional material shown in the photographs, including a large colour artwork print and additional Lone Star Soul inserts.

An interesting find for collectors of independent comics, Irish graphic novels, science fiction and unusual illustrated storytelling.

Very good used condition overall, with light signs of previous handling and storage.

Collection available in Gorey, Co. Wexford, or postage anywhere in Ireland at the buyer's expense.
