The SHAMROCK The National Magazine of Ireland Published weekly - Price One Penny 51 Issues Oct 3rd 1891 to Sept 24th 1892, 51 episodes, in near fine condition, in one bound volume The SHAMROCK Magazine was printed weekly in Dublin by The Irish National Newspaper and Publishing Company. The magazine was one of the more popular one's of its time and was shipped to Europe and America on a subscription basis. Historical topics, serials, Gaelic prose and poetry, together with a myriad of other items was its stock and trade. The list is never-ending there was so much covered and published on a weekly basis. It is very hard to find these magazines today and especially with near fine pages, the pages are untouched, some rubbing and corner knocks to the cover, tightly bound. Slight wear on inner covers. Covers stamped N.Harvey Binders, Waterford, which is written in pencil also. Page 750 is cut in half, see image. 23 by 29 cm's, approx 2 kg in weight, 848 pages. M15
