Up for sale is a 100% authentic vintage 1952 commemorative medallion marking the historic Preston Guild Merchant celebration in Lancashire.
Significance: The 1952 event was highly historic as the first Guild celebrated after WWII.
Front Design: Features the profiles of the Guild Mayor and Mayoress, John J. Ward & M. Ward.
Reverse Design: Detailed Preston Borough coat of arms featuring the Lamb of God and the "P.P." insignia.
Composition: Struck in lightweight aluminium.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with its original loop and safety pin suspension still attached. Lettering is sharp and clear.
