Little Bray Castle c. 1918 which was demolished by the Bray Urban Council in 1937 as part of a road-widening scheme – it was situated opposite the old Heiton's yard at Superquinn car park
Showing the back street which has also been demolished....
The old Castle in Little Bray was formerly owned by a Norman lord who according to local tradition was executed by the Normans for harboring some Irishmen who were fighting against the Normans.
