This is a Soviet Commemorative Table Medal dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Grigory Ivanovich Kotovsky (1881–1925), a famous Bolshevik revolutionary and Red Army commander.

Portrait: Grigory Kotovsky in his military uniform and characteristic "Budenovka" hat.
Inscription: "КОТОВСКИЙ ГРИГОРИЙ ИВАНОВИЧ • 1881-1925" (Kotovsky Grigory Ivanovich).
(Reverse)
Main Text: "ЗА ВЛАСТЬ СОВЕТОВ!" (For the Power of the Soviets!).
Imagery: A revolutionary banner, a bugle, a saber, and a Budenovka hat—symbols of the Russian Civil War.
