Polish,,Wzorowy Zolnierz " Bagde SEE DESCRIPTION
Description
Polish badge:
-"Wzorowy Żołnierz" - 3rd Class*
- *Translation:* "Exemplary Soldier"
- *Country:* Polish People's Republic (PRL)
- *Period:* 1950s to late 1980s
- Class 3 (the number 3 on the front), white and red enamel background — the Polish flag colours — with a soldier's head in a helmet.
- *Back mark:* "MENNICA PAŃSTWOWA" — that's the State Mint in Warsaw that made it. The screw-back with the brass nut is the original fix.
It was an award given in the Polish People's Army for good discipline, shooting, and political training. Class 3 was the most common, Class 1 was the highest.
