WW2 BRITISH MILITARY CAMPAIGN AWARD - MINATURE ITALY STAR MEDAL in excellent condition.
High Military Award - Medal was awarded to members of the ROYAL NAVY ARMY & RAF who served in the Second World War, specifically in Italian Campaign from 1943 to 1945
Order of wear : It is last campaign star medal
Medal was instituted in 8 MAY 1945
It is a small size high quality medal
The obverse has a central design of the George VI Royal Cypher "GRI VI", surmounted by a crown. A circlet, the top of which is covered by the crown, surrounds the cypher and is inscribed "THE ITALY STAR"
The reverse of the medal is plain design
Would be an excellent gift for people interested in military,memorabilia or for collectors
