Description

Two rare, vintage portrait photographs of high-ranking WWII German commanders. These photos feature official Soviet-era archival markings on the reverse, indicating they were part of a captured press or state collection post-1945.

​Date of Image: Circa late 1942–1943.

​Provenance & Backings
​The reverse of both photos features the Russian "ПОГАШЕНО" (Cancelled) stamp and archival pencil cataloging. These are vintage prints with period-correct scalloped (deckle) edges, suggesting they were printed for archival or press use mid-20th century.
