Lattafa Fakhar Black (often simply called Lattafa Fakhar Men) – scent description and inspiration

This is a men's oriental-aromatic fragrance from 2022, which is one of the most popular clones/dupes of YSL Y Eau de Parfum (Y EDP) by Yves Saint Laurent.

In the opening, you can clearly feel the same “blue fragrance” vibe: juicy, crisp apple combined with ginger and bergamot, giving a feeling of freshness, cleanliness, and modern masculinity. In the heart, lavender appears with sage, juniper berries, and geranium – aromatic, slightly herbal, but not heavy. The base is warm, creamy tonka bean, cedar, amberwood, and vetiver – sweetly woody, yet elegant and “clean”.

Overall character : fresh, fruity (apple in the foreground), slightly spicy (ginger), very masculine, mass-appealing, and safe for everyday wear (office, dates, casual). It is more fruity and sweeter than the original YSL Y, but 85–95% similar (especially in the first 3–4 hours). Perfect for spring/summer, but wearable all year round.
