Stunning Ornate Gilt Oval Mirror, Chippendale Style - REDUCED

A real statement piece. This fine large oval mirror has a hand-carved, gilded frame with a pierced acanthus-leaf crest, flowing scrollwork, and floral and foliate detail running down both sides. The glass is bevelled, and the gold has a lovely warm, aged patina.
It looks brilliant in a hallway, over a console or fireplace, or as a focal point in a living or dining room. It looks equally good against a classic or a more modern, industrial scheme, as you can see in the photos.
