@S.C.C. Hi honest truth when I bought the desk one side was gone down ,and when I brought it to Tom Baylor's in Fermoy Dominic the technician outstanding in his profession , but after short discussion and since I'm now using powered speakers it was decided to turn it into a dry desk , so read carefully exactly what I said about it and if you need any specific information on it get in touch with Dominic and say Martin Williams from Kerry put you in touch and he may give you more information on it , I used it dry and it was perfect, for the price it's worthed , hope I was of help to you
Hi, thanks for the reply. No I had read your main description and story carefully. You said that one side of the desk had gone down which would suggest that the other side/power module might be still intact.
I just wanted to find out if you still have it or is it still inside the desk?
I've used the same desk for 20 years and one side of my one went down also. They can be repaired but only by locating a replacement power module. There are two in each desk, left and right (which can be flipped over to replace whichever side has blown).
Unfortunately Aalen and Heath down make the modules any more.
I hope this explains the nature of my first question.

@S.C.C. I totally understand you because when I first brought the desk to Dominic Worksop at Tom Baylor music Fermoy this is exactly the discussion we had hard to find ,so I opted for dry desk altogether, is the working amp still in the desk ,you know I presume it is cause it's still dam heavy , but it may worth your while definitely talking to Dominic himself ...
Thanks again Martin for the message. Yes to be honest I don't know what to do about it really. My own desk.is working perfectly on one side and it seems a shame not to be able to get it sorted. I've already been in communication with Allen and Heath and they were very helpful but the parts just aren't being made end of.
Anyway, I might try and contact that chap you mentioned and maybe get back to you on it.
In the meantime I wish you all the best with the sale. It would definitely be a great passive desk for anybody. They are great.

@S.C.C. they certainly are even when that EQ section I said was not working due to it being part of the internal amps ,the desk still performed perfectly well , I was going to hold onto it as a spare but I have too many desks already as it is , the one that I was extremely impressed with is the digital Presonus 16:4:2 , seeing it first hand it frightened me ,but wow excellent sounding desk, but right now your anxious to get yours to full working order again , perhaps Dominic is your man , as I said he's an absolute genius, all the best and if I'm chatting to him in the meantime I'll ask him also ...
