Bburago Land Rover Series II LWB 1:25 Scale Diecast Model Red/White B18-22063

New issue of Bburago’s Land Rover Series II LWB since Bburago was bought by the same company that makes Maisto models. Instead of being made in Italy, the new models are made in China using the original tooling.

Essentially the same model that started in the 1980s with 0167 Land Rover Station Wagon (blue), evolved into 0161 Land Rover Aziza (red) & Camel Trophy (yellow) with a special edition 167 UNICEF 60 years (blue) plus 2 model kit versions 5161 Land Rover Raid (brown) and 18-25028 1971 Land Rover (red)

Bright red bodywork, white front windscreen, side and rear corner window surrounds and roof protector. The body is diecast metal with the roof and chassis plastic. Chrome and black front grille, chrome headlight surrounds, glazed headlights, painted indicator, side and tail lights. Clear glazed windows and roof lights. Black plastic wing mirrors with reflective surfaces, black plastic bumpers, tow hook and rear grab handles. Painted side air intake & door handles. 1967 “E” suffix rear licence plate.

Opening bonnet with detailed black and chrome engine. Opening, fully-framed doors revealing a detailed 3 front seat interior in black with matching dashboard, chrome gear levers and hand brake, functional black, 3-spoke steering wheel that turns the front wheels. Opening plastic, glazed rear door revealing facing bench seating and spare wheel.

The model rolls on silver 8-spoke wheels with rubberised plastic treaded tyres. The detailed black plastic chassis is secured to the bodywork with 2 crosshead screws.
