ASUS ROG Strix XG279Q 27" 1440p 170Hz Gaming Monitor (For Parts / Easy Project)

I originally bought this beast of a monitor to repair for my own gaming setup. It had a backlight issue, so I took the time to carefully open it up and successfully install a brand-new, high-density 112-LED backlight strip. It powers on perfectly now!
​However, during the repair, I noticed the internal Light Guide Plate (the clear plastic LGP layer behind the screen) has a crack near the bottom, which prevents the new backlight from illuminating the top half of the screen properly. The actual front IPS glass has NO cracks, but you will need a donor LGP (or a full donor panel) to get it back to 100%.
​I am completely out of free time with work and life right now to hunt down a donor monitor, so I’m selling it as-is. My lack of time is your gain!

Priced to sell quickly! If you are a repair hobbyist, you can swap the LGP from a donor Acer/ASUS M270DAN06.6 panel, or simply part it out yourself on eBay to make an easy profit on the boards and stand. First come, first served!
