Description

Selling my Philips 279M1RV 27" 4K gaming monitor, which I have owned since 2021.
The monitor is in excellent/perfect condition and has always been well looked after. It has mainly been used for gaming on and off over the years, but I'm selling as I simply don't have as much time to play games anymore.
This is still an excellent high-end gaming monitor and has pretty much everything you could want for gaming, aside from being OLED.

The 4K Nano IPS display produces excellent colours and sharpness, while the 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make it excellent for fast-paced games such as Call of Duty, Fortnite, racing games and competitive shooters, while the 4K resolution and HDR also make it fantastic for single-player games and cinematic titles.
The monitor was also specifically designed with next-generation console gaming in mind, including HDMI 2.1, VRR and 4K/120Hz support, making it a great choice for PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X. Philips originally marketed this model as a "Designed for Xbox" display.
The Ambiglow lighting around the back of the monitor is fully customisable and adds a really nice effect when gaming, particularly in a darker room.

A fantastic all-round 4K gaming monitor that is still very capable today.
