Description

Selling my Giant XTC carbon 29er. This started as a high-end lightweight XC bike and has been extensively upgraded over the years into a fast and very capable XC/trail hardtail. Its a great winter bike also for training in trail centres.

The bike is running a modern SRAM GX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain, Fox 32 100mm fork, Shimano SLX hydraulic brakes and a dropper post.

The two wheelsets make this a particularly versatile bike. Run the Flow EX wheels and aggressive tyres for trails/MTB, or swap in the road wheels for faster road and general training.

The carbon XTC is a proper lightweight XC platform and the upgrades have modernised the bike considerably. The GX 12-speed drivetrain, dropper, SLX brakes and Flow EX wheels make it much more capable on technical trails than the original factory specification.

It's an older bike and has the normal cosmetic marks you'd expect from a mountain bike that's actually been ridden, so I'm not trying to pass it off as showroom condition. Mechanically, however, there has been a lot invested in the build.

A lot of bike for the money compared with the specification you'd get on a new XC bike at this price.
