PERSONAL SUMMARY

Joce Cristovao, Brazilian, 32 years old. Professional bassist, session musician and electric bass/acoustic guitar tutor. I had my musical initiation at the age of 14 when I’ve started to get my first music lessons, since then I continued my studies with excellents and renowned teachers. Undergraduate Degree in Music by UCS (Universidade de Caxias do Sul) in Brazil.
Professional musician since 2012. Sideman act in shows, dance companies, and recordings several music genres in Brazil and Europe.
More than 10 years of experience teaching students from beginner to advanced level, no distinctions. I’m used to work at private schools, online and face to face lessons. Children and adults.
Highlight of the 2014 Bass player magazine along with the Hard Rock band Underload. In 2016, I recorded an EP with the band Moeda Rara in São Paulo, Brazil, produced by the most famous Brazilian producer Rick Bonadio (Midas Studio).
Along with the Sideman and teacher duties, I also develop my solo career focused on instrumental music, had released some singles.
Living in Dublin since 2018, I have been working with respectful musicians and bands around the country. The Harleys Band, Juno Party Band, Jacob Koopman, Allie Sherlock, Fábio Rodrigues and with my own band The 3Busketeers.
Recently, I have been involved in a volunteering project called Joyful Noise in my neighborhood. There we use music as therapy to people with special needs.
