Daniel Maher, of Thurlesbeg Fort, emigrated to the United Sates in the 1890's where he created 19 drawings of his native area including the villages of Boherlahan and Ardmayle, Cashel, and his family homestead. This book reproduces some of the drawings with details of Meagher's life, descriptions of the drawings and the text associated with them.
