Science Fiction Films - Robin Cross - 1986 Retro Cinema - Terminator & Alien

Science Fiction Films by Robin Cross, a large-format illustrated journey through the history of science-fiction cinema.

From the genre's early pioneers and the monster-filled films of the 1950s to Star Wars, Alien, Superman and The Terminator, this book explores the films that helped shape the visual world of science fiction.

Published in 1986, it offers a particularly interesting period perspective, written when many films now considered classics were still relatively new.

Packed with large film stills, behind-the-scenes imagery and colour and black-and-white illustrations throughout its 96 pages.

The striking Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator cover gives it plenty of retro display appeal, making it a nice find for science-fiction fans, film collectors and enthusiasts of 1980s cinema.

First British edition, published by Admiral Books in 1986.

Very good used condition, with light surface and edge wear to the covers, including a few small scuffs and corner marks. The interior is exceptionally clean and well preserved.
