First English paperback edition of Michael Kurtz's biography of legendary modern composer Karlheinz Stockhausen - the brilliant pioneer of electronic and serial music, and the guy who once composed a piece to be performed by a string quartet and four helicopters - translated by the great Richard Toop. In average condition, it's got a few dents and scuffs and dog-ears, but the text is complete and unmarked.
