Original quarter leather over marbled boards with gilt ribbed titles on the spine. 765 very clean and bright pages, fore-edge decorated edges all round, mild speckled foxing on the first few pages and endpapers. Boards are rubbed with time and bumped on the corners consistent with age, and the spine back is part torn and part missing, front cover is becoming detached but remains firm and solid. Scarce!
