The 31 films of Alexander Korda include classics ranging from "The Private Life of Henry VIII" to "The Four Feathers", and from "Rembrandt" to "Anna Karenina". This book, published to coincide with Channel 4's screening of all 31 films during 1992 and 1993, consists of a biography of the director, synopses of the films, production details and full cast lists. Contemporary reviews show how the films were received on their release, and are juxtaposed with an assessment of each film by a modern critic. The book is illustrated with a series of original production stills.
