Description

By Barry Kennerk.
2008. 203 pages in hardback with dust jacket.
The writers grandmother was born in a railway house on a country branch line, cutting through the Ballinough Hills, in 1914. There was a level crossing near Doury Bog and the gables of the house faced towards Clara and Tullamore. The house was home to three generations of the Gaynor family, most of whom worked on the railways. This is the story of Kathleen Gaynor, the trains and the people who worked on them.
