The Scramble for Africa is in excellent / near-perfect condition. I read this one in paperback and bought the hardback to add to my collection.

The Boer War is also very clean with all pages present and intact, but the binding is beginning to fail, so this is reflected in the price. (see pictures 2+3)

Both are substantial, highly regarded works by Pakenham, an Anglo-Irish historian associated with Tullynally Castle in Co. Westmeath. He is also a lifelong tree enthusiast and has written extensively about remarkable and historic trees.

Both hardbacks with dust covers. No writing, highlighting or other marks.
