Vintage 1946 "Nature in Britain" Hardback (Collins) - Orange Pictorial Jacket

A lovely mid-century vintage copy of Nature in Britain (Collins, 1946 reprint). Features the iconic, bright orange dust jacket illustrated with a bluebird and dogrose. The back cover features early advertisements for Collins' famous New Naturalist series listed at 21 shillings.
• Condition: Good vintage condition. The pages and back cover have naturally yellowed/tanned over the decades, adding to its authentic vintage charm. The dust jacket is price-clipped. Now housed safely in a protective plastic cover.
• Provenance: Features a neat pen inscription from a gift dated 14th June 1951 ("Veronica Saul with love from Uncle Harry").
Under the jacket: Light brown cloth boards are clean, and the spine features beautiful, bright gold-gilt lettering with a vintage butterfly and oak leaf motif. Binding is tight with no loose pages.
